About Sharon Carvo
My love for art began when I was a child, inspired by my grandparents’ beautiful art collection. One piece in particular, a Picasso print titled Ronde au Soleil, has always held a special place in my heart. That early exposure sparked my curiosity, and I began exploring every art book I could find in my school library, diving into the works of Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, and many others. Art is a powerful form of expression that allows people to communicate emotions and ideas that words often cannot capture. Creating art can bring a sense of peace, joy, and freedom. For students especially, it offers a much-needed outlet, a way to decompress from a full day of learning while still engaging the mind and spirit in a creative, meaningful way. It is a chance to slow down, reflect, and connect, with themselves, with others, and with the world around them.
