About Bryant Goetz

I can trace my interest in art back to early childhood and taking Summer art classes when I would go stay with my grandparents who encouraged me to create. Eventually it would be my high school art teachers who were always inspiring me to push myself creatively and allowed me to express myself freely across many mediums in my classes. I went on to study studio art at Washington State University after some time spent as a full-time touring musician with a band as the drummer. I applied to the BFA program in my junior year and was accepted, which provided me with a private studio on campus to dig deeper into my art practice. After I received my BFA from WSU, I spent many hours a day in my studio working on growing my skills as a painter. Eventually my growth as an artist led me to more and more opportunities to show my paintings in art galleries, juried exhibitions, and even a museum show in 2019. Everything came full circle when I received my master’s degree at Grand Canyon University in 2017 and completed student teaching at my old high school in East Wenatchee, Washington. I find true joy in being a professional artist and educator. I am always inspired by the students I teach. I currently live and work in Wenatchee, Washington and I have taught at Insight since 2021.
