Clubs, Sports & Activities FAQs
How do Insight School of Washington (ISWA) students socialize?
Even though ISWA is an online school, we recognize the importance of offering field trips and other in-person activities. These events support an authentic public school experience that both teaches and socializes students.
ISWA offers clubs in Elementary, Middle School & High School. We also have a socialization period everyday for the students called Eagle Hangouts, where the students can talk, play games and make friends.
Students have told us that they build great relationships through Eagle Hangouts and ISWA Clubs.
Does ISWA hold dances and a graduation ceremony?
Yes. ISWA holds a High School Prom, every May all 9th -12th graders are invited to attend the annual event. ISWA’s commencement ceremony is held in June. All November, March, and June graduates are encouraged to attend with guests (family and friends).
Can students participate in athletics and other extracurricular activities?
We encourage students to speak with their resident school district regarding the possibility of participating in athletics and extracurricular activities.
ISWA offers several clubs for our students, such as the ASB, eSports, and Cooking Club. K12 offers national online student clubs for all students.
