FAQs
Tests and Assessments FAQs
Does my child have to participate in state testing?
All students attending Insight School of Washington (ISWA) are required to participate in state-mandated academic assessments. Failure to attend may result in the student not meeting graduation requirements, being placed on an intervention plan, or being ineligible for re-enrollment in the future.
How will my child participate in state testing?
Students complete state assessments in person at one of our test sites around Washington state. You will be assigned to a Spring Testing Site within one hour of your home. Starting in December, you may view and confirm your assigned testing site by clicking the Family Login link at our Testing Portal.
Students who live more than one hour from their testing site may choose to travel to the nearest available testing site or request their exams be scheduled with their legal resident school district. Certain eligibility requirements apply.
